Teams - Invite non-Bryant attendees to a meeting

Using Desktop Outlook

  1. Install the Teams App on your computer, if not already installed.
  2. Click on the Appointment tab.
  3. Click on Teams Meeting in the Outlook ribbon menu.
  4. Enter the email addresses of all attendees (including non-Bryant) in the Required and Optional fields.
  5. Click Save
  6. All attendees will receive a meeting notification containing a link to the meeting. This link will also appear in their Calendar event, if added.
  7. Non-Bryant attendees will be asked to enter their name when joining the meeting.
  8. All attendees will have the option to approve access to audio and video on their own devices.
  9. Attendees will be placed in a waiting room if they join the meeting before the host. The host will need to approve access.

Using Outlook on the Web

  1. In Outlook Calendar, click on New Event.
  2. Enter your meeting details.
  3. Enter the email addresses of all attendees (including non-Bryant) in the Required and Optional fields.
  4. Using the Add online meeting dropdown, select Teams meeting.
  5. Click Save
  6. All attendees will receive a meeting notification containing a link to the meeting. This link will also appear in their Calendar event, if added.
  7. Non-Bryant attendees will be asked to enter their name when joining the meeting.
  8. All attendees will have the option to approve access to audio and video on their own devices.
  9. Attendees will be placed in a waiting room if they join the meeting before the host. The host will need to approve access.

Using Microsoft Teams

  1. In Teams, click on the Calendar tab on the left menu.
  2. Click New Meeting.
  3. Enter your meeting details
  4. Enter the email addresses of all attendees (including non-Bryant) in the Required and Optional fields.
  5. Click Save
  6. All attendees will receive a meeting notification containing a link to the meeting. This link will also appear in their Calendar event, if added.
