New Printing Service

Bryant University has recently transitioned to a centralized print management service operated by Flo-Tech. Flo-Tech will provide service and supplies for all campus printers. PaperCut will allow users to manage their printing activity.

For students, the new print service will provide a number of additional benefits including copy, scan and color print capabilities from all student print locations with no additional cost for color printouts.  The addition of the PaperCut system will provide a number of new services to the Bryant Community as a whole. A complete listing of the changes with the new system can be found at Multi-Function capabilities.

Our Information Services team, along with FloTech, will begin installing new HP Multi-Function printers in many locations including Faculty Suites, Student print areas and several offices that were already scheduled for printer upgrades. Those areas not scheduled for upgrades will continue to use their existing Cannon printers, which will be converted to use the PaperCut system.

During this transition, users may experience brief interruptions in print services while their printers are being transitioned to PaperCut.  We will do our best to keep these interruptions short and to a minimum and give locations a warning when updates are being conducted. Training will be provided during and after the installation and our IS Team will provide training materials as well.
