Getting Started
Whether you're a new student, faculty member, or staff, here’s everything you need to get started with your Bryant account, connect to Wi-Fi, access University applications, and navigate campus both online and in-person. Welcome to Bryant!
Bryant Account and Email
Your Bryant Account is used to log into University applications and connect to the Bryant network. You will receive instructions on how to initialize your account as part of your admission package or hiring process.
Email is a primary communication channel between students, faculty and staff. You receive a Bryant Email when your Bryant Account is created. You should add this account to your device.
Communication
In addition to your Bryant Email, the University provides the following tools to communicate and collaborate:
- Microsoft Teams is the primary collaboration tool for instant messaging, video calls, and team collaboration.

Navigating Campus
- Campus Maps are available to help you locate buildings and locations on campus.
- Review the Parking and Traffic Rules.
- Obtain a Parking Permit.
- The transportation page provides detailed information on the options available to navigate the campus and surrounding areas.
Finding Information
- The Information Directory is available to help you locate general information for all administrative offices on campus.
- The Information Services website provides information on all the services, applications, and tools that are available to the Bryant community.
- The AskTupper AI Chatbot provides answers to questions about the University.
- Stay connected and in-the-know from anywhere by installing the Bryant Mobile App and the University's recommended Companion Apps on your mobile device.
- My Bryant includes a Quick Launch of applications available to the community, as well as a list of upcoming events. Be sure to log in for a complete list.
Safety and Security
The well-being of all members of the community is a priority. Visit the Department of Public Safety (DPS) for information on the University's safety procedures.
- Sign up for the Emergency Notifications to get texts and phone calls during an emergency.
- Locate Emergency Services.
Your Role in Information Security
All community members with a Bryant account play a central role in protecting the University's network, data, and information systems. All Bryant account holders are required to complete security awareness training as part of their orientation to the University.
You must read and agree to the Acceptable Use policy. The Information Security area has tips on Safe Computing and security guidelines to protect yourself and the organization.
