Student Laptops
The Bryant Laptop Program maintains over 3300 laptops campus-wide. A laptop computer is issued to all incoming students as part of the Bryant tuition package.
Students enrolled prior to Fall 2022 keep this machine until the beginning of their junior year, at which time it is exchanged for a new model. Students enrolled for Fall 2022 and later will keep their original laptop through their senior year. Upon successful completion of their senior year, this laptop is theirs to keep without any further fee or expense.
Students are responsible for the care and proper usage of the laptop as specified both in the Student Agreement signed at initial pickup and Bryant's Academic Computing Policy agreed to when first signing in to the Bryant network, however, within those boundaries they are free to do with the machine what they please and their laptop user accounts have full Administrator authority. The laptop is considered the property of Bryant University until the student's graduation or the laptop is purchased.
Hardware and software support is available for all enrolled students at Laptop Central, located in the Bello Library. Support for alumni is available and outlined in Post Graduation Support.
