What is the Bryant's wireless network key?

All current Bryant students should connect to the BryantUniversity wireless SSID.

This wireless network utilizes your email username (do not include @bryant.edu) and your email password as credentials.  Should you ever change your email password, you will be prompted to enter in these credentials again on reboot of your laptop or other device.

How do I setup a wireless printer in my dorm room?

Currently, Bryant network policy does not support personal wireless printers in the dormitories for security reasons.

Printers that offer a Bluetooth connectivity or that are compatible with a Bluetooth adapter will function with the Bryant-provided laptop.

Students lacking a USB cable to physically connect their printer can visit Laptop Central in the Bello, where one may be purchased (link to table with prices).  They can also be found in the electronics section of any chain store such as Staples, Target, Wallmart, or BestBuy, or through online retailers such as Amazon.

What do I do with my laptop if I withdraw or transfer to another school?

Once you have notified the University of your intent to withdraw, you will receive an email detailing your need to return your laptop, charger, and Bryant backpack to Laptop Central.  If mailing your laptop back to us, be sure to insure the package and provide adequate padding inside an appropriate box, also include a note inside with your name, ID number, and that you are withdrawing.

Depending on how many semester you have possessed the laptop, you may be given the option to purchase your machine at a depreciated price. Please contact Laptop Central for that price. Once your laptop has been returned, the transcript hold on your account will be lifted.  Failure to return the laptop in a timely fashion will result in eventual legal proceedings.
