Teams - Hide Your Background on a Video Call
This tip only applies to the Microsoft Teams Desktop app for scheduled meetings.
Do you need to start or join a video call, but you'd like to hide a cluttered or busy background? Well, with the Microsoft Teams desktop app, you have the option to blur your background from view of everyone on the call.
If you'd like to use this feature you'll need to have Microsoft Teams for Desktop installed on your computer. This feature is not available when using Microsoft Teams in a web browser.
You can turn on background blur before you join the meeting, or during a meeting you can click More options > Blur my background.
